Our two girls go here a few times a year and always run in. Both come home healthy, well fed and exercised. Great, friendly staff with a confident open door policy. Fully recommend.
We’ve been using Balmoral for occasional doggy day care for our (now 1 year old) Border Collie for some time now. Combined with our training and play with it it has contributed to him being a sociable and good dog. Mandi has an excellent set up, has a great team and runs a tight ship altho with a relaxed feel. Our dog has just returned from his first 5 night stay and whilst he’s obviously happy to be home it is obvious that he’s had a great time and not been distressed. To be recommended.
Second time leaving my 2 at balmoral kennels but this time it was for longer than before. I was nervous but photo updates on social media of them playing with all the other dogs instantly put me at ease .

Copper absolutely loves this place, the owner is lovely with the animals, and she is reasonable priced.
Elizabet and her daughter are lovely, and you can tell they really care for our pets and look after them well. I was nervous to take my dog at 1st, but they truly put my mind at rest, and my dog loves it there. I would totally recommend.
Westway are always ready to help. We have one dog who is fine with other dogs and another who isn’t fine with other dogs so Westway make sure they play together on their own outside then put the dog that isn’t so good with other dogs into his kennel while the other dog plays with all the others. Westway has also put a plastic sheet over the kennel of the dog who doesn’t like other dogs to ease his stress.

What We Offer:

Your Cats will be housed in a luxury spacious UPVC pen with housing inside and their own outside exercise pen. Which overlook spacious, peaceful gardens. Our pens are big enough to house up to 3 cats from the same family, with 2 family pens available for up to 6 cats. All indoor pens are individually heated. The outdoor exercise pens also have either tree barks or a NEW scratching tower for your cat(s) to run, scratch, play or sit on. We provide clean blankets for all cats but of course you are welcome to bring your own bedding with which your cat is familiar.

Unfortunately had to place my elderly cat there for 6 months due to family circumstances and they could not have looked after him better, allowed me to visit him out of hours, trialled him on lots of food until found one that stabilised his weight, let him wander around the building rather than just be in the pen because he was a long term stay, gave him attention and love every day so that he was happy even away from me.
Placed our cat there for 4 days while we went visiting family, lovely cattery, very clean, staff are very friendly can recommend Hollyacres.
This cattery is fabulous with the best care and attention for the cats. Karen and her team take really excellent care of the cat’s diet, their grooming and their comfort. All the units have an outdoor space and the interior has good visibility to the other units and central area so the cats are aware of what’s going on and are not lonely.
