I’ve been going to Woodhouse since I started needing glasses as a teenager (I’m now 51) and have never used any other optician. I’ve just had another extremely thorough eye examination using the latest technology to scan my eyes and a really good conversation on options to improve things for me going forward.
They gave me the confidence to try contact lenses and what a liberating feeling.
They have been looking after my eyes since I was five years old and now they look after my wife and kids eyes too with the same excellent care they have always offered.

I am just coming from my Eye Exam at Wooding. My mother in law has been visiting this optician for several years and she highly recommended it to me, I am absolutely delighted with the service they gave me.
This was my first time at Wooding opticians, it was a brilliant experience. Tina and Gill greeted me and made me feel very welcome and safe. Entry and exit from the practice was controlled to ensure that there were only 2 customers at any one time. There was also evidence that precautions were being taken to control the spread of the dreaded virus.
I have been a customer at Woodings for the last 28 years! They have supplied my contact lenses and given me lots of good advice. They were super adaptable when I moved abroad temporarily and did all they could to ensure a great service. I have always found them friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Such a welcoming knowledgeable opticians. Put at ease immediately by the friendly approachable receptionists. They saw us straight away and involved my 4 year old daughter in the choosing of her glasses which she really enjoyed trying them all on .
First class service from the moment you walk in. The receptionists are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and Graham Robinson himself is a top-notch optometrist whose caring and thorough approach really puts you at ease. I’d recommend this practice to anyone.
