I found Mr Magra to be very personable and approachable and his professionalism right from the start reassured me that my hip replacement would be a huge success. On the day of the operation he visited me to explain, again, the steps involved in the procedure. Both he and the Spire team did everything to keep me informed and reassured as much as possible.
The surgery, aftercare and advice was excellent (and a hardly visible scar) plus wonderful physio advice.
He kept me informed about the risks and rewards and the long term effects of the surgery.

Mr. Dunkow’s current practice encompasses all aspects of surgery of the knee, including knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and cruciate ligament reconstruction. He also performs conventional hip replacement surgery. Mr. Dunkow originally grew up on the Fylde Coast and Arnold School in Blackpool. He then went on to study at Manchester Medical School where he underwent his undergraduate and post-graduate training. He carried out his orthopaedic training as a registrar at the Manchester Teaching Hospital and hospitals around the North West. He has trained specifically doing a fellowship in knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and also hip replacement surgery. .

2 x arthroscopic procedures and 2 x talonvicular cheliectomy procedures, I would not go anywhere else by choice, Paul and his team are spot on, straight talking, honest and open, would like to say I’ll never see them again! But I’m again after several years about to request a direct referral to Paul and his team.
3 Months ago (December 2018) Mr Dunkow replaced my left hip. The surgery went without hiccup and I am now walking up to half a mile without the aid of even a stick. I would recommend Mr. Dunkow for any joint replacement. He and his team have been positive and supportive throughout.
Dr Dunkow carried out a full ulnar nerve decompression of my left elbow with amazing results.
